Visiting UK Craft Fairs (and other craft events)
The problem when talking about visiting a craft fairs in the UK is that the term covers a huge range of events.
We could be talking about a small craft fair at your local church hall with 12 stands and a tombola or we could be talking about a 500 stall event at a Stately Home complete with refreshments and entertainment.
In addition to these you can will craft marquees at a wide range of other events around the country; Garden Shows, Country Fairs, Balloon Festivals and even horse trials.
Craft Materials
. Many craft fairs will have a few stands selling Craft Making Materials but if you are speciafically interested in these you would do better to attend one of the specialised materials shows. These will be packed with stall selling materials for you to make your own craft (and art) projects. Many of them are dominated by or exclusively for paper crafts. This is a shame as it is a bit limiting for the visitors and it is still nce to attend the shows which have a wide range of craft represented, Cross Stitch, Encaustic Work, Watercolour Painting, Pyography, Knitting etc etc. Before You Go
